It’s that time of year again when I post the George and Timmy Christmas special. I was feeling extra sentimental this year so I recorded a cover of the song “it’s In Every One of Us” to go with it. It’s not a super famous Christmas song… Well it’s not atually a Christmas song at all, but it was on the album “John Denver and the Muppets, A Christmas Together” and I used that version in this video.

Hey, So i’ve been working on  lots of new songs. And here’s one of them. My friend Mark came up with this great idea for a song..about how this chimp you get that looks so cute can become your killer in 3 years. SO i wrote this beauty!

Hey, welcome back to another MISUNG MONDAY! Here’s another song that George and Jim wrote (in New York back in 2011) as an instrumental and i added to it (In Saint Louis) . It’s called “Straight Thru my Head”. George did the drums, Jim rocked the bass and i played the guitar and sang over it. Hope you all enjoy it!

2013 Ottomen Empire Records

HOWDY FOLKS! WELCOME TO RETRO MONDAYS!

So Recently, I’ve took a trip into the OTTOVAULT and discovered some instrumentals that Jim and George recorded in 2012 (or possibly before).

*They sent me a bunch of bass and drum tracks of which i took and added guitar and vocals and made fun songs with them. (“Human Centipede” and “Commando” were created through this procedure. -Jim and George are from the Original Ottomen Kansas City Band line up.)

i was inspired from what i heard and created new songs with them and here’s one of the first ones.

This song continues the tradition of Ottomen songs representing “He-Man” action figures. This song is called “Stinkor” .

I recorded and mixed this in a span of a week or so.

Hey, I’m back from my new years vacation! wow! what a time! Anywhoo. I’ve been a busy bee working on new Ottomen tunes as well as working on Beck’s Song Reader Songs. If you don’t know already, Beck Hansen newest music is in sheet form only. So the only way to hear it is to play it.

I did a few of the songs. “Old Shanghai”, “Saint Dude” and “Don’t Act Like your Heart isn’t Hard”. out of the 20 in the book.
