Good morning

This is a song about never being able to sleep when a new person is sleeping in my bed next to me. Then waking them up with a bass solo for some activity that makes me go to sleep finally.

It’s my birthday. I am back in Saint Louis and Mr. Misung and I did a new song today.

THE GAMEPLAN

This song was written half by me then the rest by Misung.

I originally wrote it in a key he could sing, then jacked it up played and then recorded all the instruments by myself.

We does did pretty good job on this.

It was intended for KONAMI, but they changed their mind last minute and requested an instrumental instead of an upbeat song about sports.

Now it exists….here.

It will have to go on a Justin and the misungs album.

It is THURSDAY in Tokyo! You know what that means!

So a girl I came to know on Twitter added me on facebook and sent me a little video of her and her band.
I was blown away, she sent some more clips of new songs.
I was impressed!
Then, I was in the middle of making a new song and she told me she was only 4 foot 8, so I started to sing, “you are my smallest friend”

She asked to hear the song, then she asked to sing a verse then boom!

Dave wrote a song about being like a dinosaur.

I liked it a lot

so I rerecorded it to give it more of a band feel

Now it is like David, Justin and the Justins.

Now we produce together. We have more songs on the way!

I just started a song about octopi and tacos.

Dave and I made this song together. The process was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had writing with Dave (he doesn’t like writing with others).

I sampled David Bowie Soul Love to n’th degree and then added some electro beats, vocoder robot voice and we sat in the house and wrote most the lyrics by hand in front of the mic.

The video we didn’t do until 2006 when I was back in STL after my research stint in Osaka.

On a side note, this song almost got me turned away from an audition with freak folkster fashionista duo HECUBA.

They wanted someone who took music more serious. Who said music couldn’t be fun?
